Hello, I'm Laura.

My professional translation experience includes

• working as an in-house translator for French website Greenweez

• translating UN development project documents

• an internship at Language Connect, a top London translation agency

• subsequent freelance work from Language Connect

• various freelance translation and proofreading work

 

For my master's project, I translated two 5,000-word journal articles, broadly concerning linguistics and socio-/psychology respectively.

 

I also completed in-depth study of Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) tools, which I regularly use to make translating faster and more consistent.
